It’s Friday! Another week has gone by and we are getting ready for the weekend. Some of us might have work to do but nevertheless, there should be some fun in it!
Yesterday I was talking to one of my friends and she mentioned how her boss, a woman who is two years older than she, made her feel bad for nothing and how this ruined her day – and I bet she’ll have a bad weekend just thinking about what happened. I believe we all know people who behave this way as soon as they have a little bit of power over us – or they think they do.
You’re down, so pick yourself up!! At times, for whatever reasons people might have to justify their actions to themselves, they make other people feel bad or even worse, they try to make them feel small. Whether is a boss, a co-worker and sometimes a friend, those who are small, will make others feel the same or even smaller – so they can look good. There are people who think by putting other people down, they win. Remember, those who are confident, smart and true leaders will want to see the people around them succeed as well. It’s a mind set, a quality of character which very few have nowadays. Being nice, helping someone, smiling and saying “hello” is more enriching than one might think. These are small things which don’t cost us anything but which can brighten someone’s day.
