When traveling for work, for just a day or two, I don’t check-in a luggage because I am mostly in a rush and prefer not to waste time waiting for the bag when I arrive. This means I have to fit everything in a carry-on, which is not difficult, I only have to pay attention not to exceed the maximum quantity allowed on board: make-up, perfume, tooth paste, etc.

Also, because the space is limited, I carry the smallest things – in terms of packaging.

Here are my basics for a quick morning make-up while being away from home.

I use a light foundation and sometimes use loose powder as well. I like the Dior one because it is small and fits in my bag without taking a huge amount of space, unlike the Chanel one.

During the day I use brown mascara instead of black.

Below you can see why I prefer to pack the Dior powder.

It sucks waiting for bags! I love the little brushes with each powder.

    Chanel is perfect! :)

I admire your discipline to take only a carry-on on board! I tried before but I can’t do it! What do you pack for a two days trip? My clothes, make-up and shoes never fit into such a small suitcase.

Hi Sunny! I only pack one change of clothes for every day plus one extra outfit in case of “emergency” (two days = three outfits). I usually wear comfortable shoes when flying and just pack a pair of heels. It fits fine and my luggage is smaller that the usual size you see on board.
