Yesterday I was talking to my friend about happiness and how it evolved with us. In our early twenties we used to be extremely happy partying the entire Saturday night and going for breakfast at the hotel next to the club before heading home at 6AM and now we’re happy spending Saturday night with our partners, watching a great movie or enjoying the quiet company of a few close friends. Alright, so it’s gray and rainy and cloudy and cold. So what? I am in a summer mood and won’t let anything get me out of it so for my meeting with a friend later this afternoon I prepared a light dress in a bright color and flats instead of wellies. I will still need my coat, though, but I’m stopping the sky from falling! I noticed that every time it rains I choose a gray top to wear and then my mood is gray as well so I decided to wear brighter colors on gray days – I call them my happiness buddies.
